I have a comprehensive skill set built up over 15 years, which extends beyond design for web and into building large scale networks and application development. Following is a brief list of my skills relevant to web design.

HTML / CSS / Javascript

Experienced web-designer, with sound knowledge of manual programming for HTML and related CSS1/CSS2 techniques across all the major browsers. Including the use of Javascript to validate and animate content.

Perl / CGI / GD

Extensive knowledge of Perl, GD the Graphics library (for generating images on the fly) and Common Gateway Interface (commonly used on the web for interpreting submitted forms).

PHP / MySQL

Extensive knowledge in the use of PHP server-side scripting to generate dynamic content in the form of text, data and graphics. Also retrieval and storage of transaction information from/to MySQL databases for storage of site and visitor information, which includes discussion boards and e-commerce information.

Database Design

Extensive knowledge in the analysis of business data and processes to derive database designs, implemented in PHP/MySQL.

Flash

Experience in the production of animated material, from simple banner-style animations to sites built entirely in Flash.

Design software

Skilled in the use of the major software design packages (PhotoShop, ImageReady, InDesign, Illustrator, Fireworks, Freehand).
