Equipped 4 Sport

This project involved taking on an existing retailers site, specialising in selling sports equipment online, and updating the site design for search engine optimisation, this included reworking the online store software to provide search engine friendly URL's, tweaked page content to better identify products, provision of a google base feed, and ensuring the site was built to web standards/best practices.

Affiliate Dating Systems

This substantial project involved completely rewriting the administration software for managing a suite of over 400 online dating sites, with a user base in the hundreds of thousands. Functions include user management, client management, financial/billing management, site configuration and deployment. The interface is fully rights managed allowing each administrator access only to those functions necessary for their role.

Sandsifter Bar and Restaurant

A contemporary design to fit in with this stylish Bar and Restaurant They needed the ability to maintain the content of the site themselves to keep menus, drink selections, live event information and links up to date. As such a full CMS was provided allowing word style editing of content in browser, including the ability to upload and insert images in all content. To keep users up to date with live events a RSS news feed was also provided, allowing users to subscribe to event updates via their browser, or include the feed in their favourite news reader, such as Netvibes or Google Reader.

Down the Line Surf

A full online store created to replace Down the Lines, previous static site. The brief was to provide a store focused on selling shortboards and associated accessories initially, but capable of expanding into all goods surf related. Both images and video shorts can be associated with products to allow the customer to better experience the product before purchase. Full stock and order management is provided through a admin area, with online payments being taken through integration with Barclays ePDQ secure payments system, and subtle use of Javascript to enhance the browsing experience.

Frootful

A clean contemporary site created for the artist, musician and illustrator Nick Radford, based on his own design. The key part was translating the design into standards compliant XHTML/CSS and building a custom content management system (CMS), allowing complete updating of the content from uploading new media (images, video, music); editing of content in a word style editor from within the browser, and subtle use of javascript to enhance interaction with the site.

Supersonic Surfmats

A specialist surfmat seller, wanted to take their first step at selling online with tight budgetary constraints. Utilises light boxes to display the gallery images and larger product images, overlaying them on the products page, and payment via paypal buy now buttons.

Affiliate Dating Systems

The brief was to re-develop their online dating application running on some 300+ web sites and supporting 100,000+ users, incorporating custom messaging systems, online chat, advanced searching, and tailored administration on a per client basis. A key requirement was to to allow custom skinning of the application separate from the business logic easing their ability to deploy new features in the future for their customers. Example deployments are Xfactor, country side love, plenty more fish

Continental Careers Company

Design of an on going series of newspaper adverts to appear in the national press of countries such as Poland, Sri Lanka and India, in support of recruitment campaigns by Continental Careers, targeting Engineers to work on projects for the UK construction Industry. Updated CCCs existing web site with new back end administration for the management of online job postings.

Work Permits Direct

The brief was to provide a clean contemporary feel for this company specialising in UK work permits for employees within the construction industry. Designs were provided for all areas of the business including Logo, stationary, brochure and web site. Online assessment forms have been developed for this web site subsequently.

To Hell And Back

A charity site built quickly and donated to support Olaus McLeod's charity surfboard paddle from Lands end to the Scilly Isles and back, plus a minor matter of a marathon in the middle. To raise funds for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the RNLI.

Supertubes

An online surf shop, with database driven stock and order management, minor content management for the surf forecast, plus web cam integration.

MissFit : Surf fit

A bold fun women's surfing site created for Miss Fit, using a logo developed from the original MissFit logo, and an intentionally different look and feel.

MissFit

Created to promote Miss Fit who provide unique fitness holidays exclusively for women; including creation of print based marketing, business cards and stationary. The web site itself incorporates a custom built email subscription service.

Pop Flash

Dave wanted a fun easily updated showcase for a selection of his photography, Pop Flash is the result, showing how a single page site can be made highly interactive with heavy use of image and text swaps to hint images and display them.

SurfHog

SurfHog is a surfing eZine for South West Cornwall, providing news, discussions, and pictures of surfing activities in Cornwall. The Site uses database back ends extensively and custom scripts in Perl and PHP to process shop orders, validate online credit and debit card payments, as well as fetch and deliver up to date weather and surf information as text and graphs.

The Hague Brothers street theatre came with a strong concept and asked Fresh Sauce to convert this into advertising space for them.
